Akshar Arambha Nepal (AAN) is Making Inclusive Improvements!

We received an updated from Nepal. There are great things happening there to support inclusion!

“It is my pleasure for me and my organization, Akshar Arambha Nepal-AAN, to share our inclusive education campaign for “Inclusive Schools Week”.  During this period, we have organized an inclusive education orientation program for mainstream school students and an inclusive education speech competition among the 6-9 grades students. In this program 35 students (including 5 disabled students)  participated in the competition. We awarded each of them with books about influential people with disabilities. We are also supporting the school with accessible toilet, ramps and sitting arrangement for disabled students in each classes.”
