Children who do not get an adequate amount of sleep on school nights are much more likely to fall asleep in class, not complete homework assignments with quality work, and struggle with academic and social success. In a recent study of 1,000 children, researchers found that kids who had a hard time falling and staying asleep were much more likely to have difficulties in academic performance.
