Special Olympics North America UCS Fall Inclusion Week!

Hands reaching in

Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools is a program for schools Pre-K through university that intentionally promotes meaningful social inclusion by bringing together students with and without intellectual disabilities to create accepting school environments.  SOUCS utilizes three interconnected components: Special Olympics Unified Sports®, inclusive youth leadership, and whole school engagement.

In October 2021, Unified Champion Schools across the U.S. participated in the Special Olympics North America UCS Fall Inclusion Week! The Fall Inclusion Week is a series of inclusive youth leadership activities consisting of different missions, challenges, and themed activities from October 19-22, 2021. Teams used the app GooseChase to log their activities and earn points to compete and win prizes!
