New Jersey Bike-A-Thon

Dr. Frances Stetson with New Jersey teachers

When Dr. Frances Stetson heard the plans for the Future Project Team’s Bike-A-Thon presented at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles 2015, she was so impressed and had to help sponsor the event. The Bike-A-Thon was planned by these four gentlemen, the Dream Director and three male students from the inner city of Newark, NJ, a combination of special needs and general education students. This truly speaks to the power and impact of collaborative efforts in schools.

The event is will be held at the Central High School Football Field on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 8:30 to 2:00. If you are in the Newark area, please cheer on these amazing cyclers Saturday!
