Galileo High in San Francisco Unified School District kicks off a district-wide Inclusive Schools Week celebration with cheers, dance, ‘speed-friending’.

WHAT
To kick off Inclusive Schools Week, Galileo High students will be listening to K-Pop and B-Boys and participating in lunchtime activities to celebrate the school’s inclusive practices.

WHEN
Monday, December 5 / 11:15 a.m. – 12: 30 p.m. (assembly) 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. (lunchtime club activities)

WHY
Inclusive Schools Week (ISW) is a national celebration of schools working to create environments where all students feel included.

Schools are comprised of students from many different backgrounds and abilities. Inclusive Schools Week gets at one of the fundamental promises of public schools — everyone has a right to a free public education.
