District of Columbia Public Schools 2016 Celebration

The District of Columbia Public Schools had a successful Inclusive Schools Week Celebration throughout the district!
Check out some of their great celebration ideas!
1. Participate in the Inclusive School Mural Contest. A lesson plan was provided for all teachers.
2. Join the social media celebration using the hashtag #DCPSrocksInclusion, #DCPSIncludesAll and @YourSchool in order to share photos of inclusion in action at your school!
3. Register to have your school featured for our Inclusive Spotlights, where we will be going to schools to capture and highlight great inclusive efforts (co-planning, inclusive vision planning, inclusive play, co-teaching, etc.)
4. Join us at EdFest Saturday December 10th 2016 at the DC Armory 11am-3pm
